My wonderful friend Kaveri and her husband Keerthi came from Pittsburgh to meet Luke this weekend, and it was so wonderful to be all together. Luke was his usual charming self, and of course he feel in love with Kaveri and Keerthi both. Check out the great video of Kaveri and Luke. We joke that Luke is like one of those games at Roller rinks or Bowling alleys that have a metal claw and you try to win a stuffed animal or toy? When we dip Luke into his toy bucket, we never know what he's going to grab.
My friend Alicia and her singing partner Tina were also in town for a few shows, so they came and stayed with us one night as well, which was so fun. We had Laura and Thad, and my friend Ian (who is also expecting!) and my brother David and cousin Katie all over for some fun. We played 31 and Katie won it all (and took David out to the bar). It was a full house, and lots of fun being all together.
