Although Luke is a very happy kid overall, he definitely has learned to tell us what he doesn't like. His big dislikes are getting dressed, going to sleep, having a toy taken away, and not getting what he wants (like not getting to eat grass). Overall, he's doing great and Dave and I are enjoying this time with him so much.

Lots of personality
Luke has so much personality, and he just cracks me up all the time. His personality is at times silly and funny, and other times more studious and contemplative. He is very attentive and often is so interested in what's going on around him that he's trying to look in five directions at once. This last month has been so fun as he's learning to do so many new things physically, and learning so many new words. His fun new things lately are clapping, waving bye-bye, learning the concept of things that spin or move back and forth, feeding himself and eating table food, climbing the stairs, going down slides, swinging, cruising along (which means walking along furniture), walking with a walker, standing for small chunks of time, "reading" books, playing with puzzles, and playing chase. He has words (that only a mother could understand!) for Daddy, his bear, birds (brrrr), cows (boooo), duck (ducka), sometimes doggie, and uh-oh (when he drops something). Still no Mama so far, but I think he's holding out on me :-). He also did his first sign for all done which is fun to see too.
