We had such a great weekend, and my friends Jessi, Kaveri, and Rosa were all in town. On Friday, Luke and I met up with Jessi, her brother and sister-in-law, and her nieces at the Detroit Zoo, which is of course one of Luke's all time favorite places. Jessi's nieces were really nice to Luke, and gave him the grand tour of all their favorite animals. The next night, my parents came over to baby-sit, and Dave and I actually got to have an adult dinner on the town, which was really fun. It was great to get to hang out together with them, and my friend Laura Brown too, who lives locally. On Sunday, Jess, Kavi and Rosa were over at our house, and we were planning to do something fun outside with Luke. But it was really rainy and yucky, so we took the girls to their first ever indoor playscape called Castaway Cafe. It was pretty funny, and the girls were troopers taking turns playing with Luke and giving me a little break. The best part was when Rosa had taken Luke into the play area, and we were all looking for Luke and Rosa for a while but couldn't find them. Next thing we know, we spot Rosa all the way at the top with Luke! Luke loved it, and it was crazy to see him up so high!
All in all, Luke loves all the attention from the girls, and is always excited when they are in town. Here are some photos from Sunday.
