After Christmas we headed up north for a few days to Manistee with Dave's parents. We met his sister Mary and her husband there too. Although it was really cold and snowy, we had a great time hanging out together and got to take Luke swimming at the pool in the complex everyday which was great. Luke still seems to love the water, which is such a nice change from the first 9 months of his life where he apparently hated pools! We were determined to get him out for some fresh air one day, and drove over to the Manistee National Forest to take him on the sled. Although we had fun, I'm not sure if he was sold on riding in the sled. He pretty much just held on and was silent (probably thinking that we were crazy to be outside in such cold!). We had fun all the same, and found a beautiful overlook of Lake Michigan that wasn't too far through the woods (which we'll have to remember for summer!).
