Today we took Nathan on his first geocache at the Independence Lake nature trail. It was a really humid and wet day, and there were lots of turtles out and about. The path hadn't been groomed for the year yet, and Dave was superdad slogging the double stroller through the tall, wet grass. I kept worrying about rattlesnakes, and we were kind of covered in bugs! But, we found the cache, and Luke picked out 2 little snakes as his 'treasure.' We also left a matchbox car there that was Luke's, although Luke didn't know that...He still doesn't quite have the hang of leaving things behind :-)
